Tricep Rope Press-Downs

About:
This is a good exercise that will work the triceps through a full range of motion. Some good substitutes for this exercise are: Tricep Press-Downs with, either a triangular bar, or a straight bar and the Lying Tricep Extensions with dumbbells or barbell.
How To:
✓Hook up a rope to an overhead cable pulley.
✓Grip the rope from both ends directly above the knots or rubber stops using a thumbs facing up grip with your palms facing one another.
✓Keeping your elbows to your sides, press the rope down as far as possible; locking out your arms and squeezing the triceps at the end of the movement, feeling them fully contract.
✓Do not lean forward to push the weight down, allow your triceps to do the work.
✓Next, bring the rope back into the beginning position while feeling your triceps stretch during the negative portion of the movement.
