Standing Cable Cross-Overs

About:
This is a great exercise to develop the inside area of the pectoral muscles. It will help bring out cross striations, as well as, aid in the development of the middle and lower pectoral muscles. Some good substitutes for this exercise are: Dumbbell Flys and Machine Flys.
How To:
✓Take hold of the handles attached to the upper cable pulleys and step slightly forward ahead of the position of the pulleys.
✓Bend slightly forward from the waist and then move your hands forward and towards the ground in a hugging motion, with your elbows slightly bent, feeling the chest muscle contract as you bring your hands together.
✓When your hands come together don’t stop, cross one hand over the other and squeeze your chest muscles as hard as you can.
✓On each repetition, alternate which hand crosses over the other.
