 I am a 24 year old Personal Trainer born and raised in Forest Lake, MN. For my first 18 years I lived in the same house before I moved out on my own. My parents have been married for 26 years, my Mom is a Nursing Assistant and my Dad is Semi-Retired. I have an older brother named Brian who is a Tow Truck Driver. I have also been dating a wonderful man named Brian (yes, same name as my brother for almost a year.
I have been a Jack of all trades begining at the age of 17. My first career attempt was to be a Cosmetologist, which I liked because I got to work with people helping them achieve their desired beauty look. Then I tried working in the banking industry, then bartending and I also got involved in teaching Group Fitness clases. I loved the fitness industry as soon as I started teaching classes. After teaching Group Fitness for 3 years I decided to pursue Personal Training. I have now been a Certified Personal Trainer at Lifetime Fitness in Woodbury, MN for 7 months. I absolutely love helping people reach their health and fitness goals, watching their transformations is amazing! I have battled with emotional overeating since I was 18. My weight has gone up and down, but working as a Fitness Professional and knowing I have others looking up to me for advice and motivation helps me a lot! I competed at my first Bikini Competition on April 23rd 2011 at the FAP's Great North Natural Championships at The Mall of America. (This is also where I met my now boyfriend, Brian!!) I competed in the Bikini Short class and placed 6th! I was very happy with my placing for my first competition and knew I wanted to compete again. I got back on stage on June 4th 2011 at NPC's MN State Championships at Mystic Lake Casino. This time I placed 2nd! Competing is fun, and I love the thrill of being on stage. Since June I have been working out, modeling and training others. Voting begins Feb 3, 2012 |
