Magazine Forms and Article Submission Guidelines


Article Submission Guidelines:
Applies for all of our magazines

  • Each article must be under 800 words.

  • Must be written original - just for World Physique.

  • Must not be on the internet anywhere until it is published in our magazine.

  • Must not be submitted to any other magazine until we use it.

  • Must include short bio at the end of the article including contact and website.

  • Must be well-written and grammar checked.

  • Writer must be a CPT or above or a degree in the field of writing, if not writing editoral.

  • Must be willing to sign a writers release stating we have the right to publish the article(s) submitted as a contributing author.

  • 4 page spread (3500 words max) - Almost never used.

  • 3 page spread (2500 words max) - Rarely used.

  • 2 page spread (1600 words max) - Only with prior permission.

  • 1 page spread (800 words max) - Sometimes used.

  • 1/2 page spread (350 words max) - Mostly used.

  • Throw around tips (200 words max) - Used a lot.

  • 4 page spread (3200 words max) - Rarely Used.

  • 3 page spread (2000 words max) - Almost never use.

  • 2 page spread (1500 words max) - Rarely used.

  • 1 page spread (800 words max) - Sometime used.

  • 1/2 page spread (350 words max) - Most used.

    Download Writers Release - All persons that write anything for our magazines must have this on file with us before appearing in the magazine.

    Download Model Release - All persons appearing in the magazines in pictures must have one of these on file with us before appearing in magazine.

    Download Photographer Release - All pictures appearing in our magazines must have one of these on file with us by the person that took the photo(s).

    Submit as Team World Physique - If you are a writer or photographer that would like to be on our team by submitting on a regular bases, then you will need a completely different form(s). Please contact us.

    Content Not Accepted:
    We do not accept photos submitted by model. All photos appearing in magazines MUST be submitted by the photographer. Models can send photos for us to view but, to be in the magazine, they must come from the photographer that shot them.

    We seldom accept photos of models that are just standing in a picture with their hands in their hair. We are in the fitness industry, so much of our photos reflect activity. Running, jumping, working out, etc. are more idea.

    We do not accept articles that are known as "Features". If you wrote an article about yourself and want us to publish it, we will not. These articles are ones in which the writer writes solely about themselves, their accomplishments, etc. Most of our "Features" are submitted by our photographers. But, we do accept bios to explain to us who you are to be considered as a feature.

    We do not accept articles based on a new product, websites, etc. That is known as advertisement. To advertise: visit this page But, we will accept editorials on competitions, new things happening in the industry, etc.

    We do not accept articles written by the model in the article. This is for our team writers in which we have selected for such.

    WE NEVER PROMISE OR GIVE AN IMPLIED PROMISE THAT ANYONE OR ANYTHING WILL BE PUBLISHED IN ANY OF OUR MAGAZINES NOR ON OUR WEBSITE UNTIL IT IS ACTUALLY PUBLISHED.
