JG: Well, I was on the cover of the June 2009 issue of Men’s Exercise Magazine, I was the centerfold poster (along with a featured article on me) for Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness Magazine in May 2009, and I was a Feature Story in Exercise For Men Magazine in March 2009 entitled, “Big Gunz By Big Brother Star Jessie Godderz”. Those were my all-time favorites.

I’ve also appeared in Muscle & Fitness Magazine and Maximum Fitness Magazine numerous times as a Fitness Model before I started becoming well-known.

WP: People might also recognize you from a little known show called ‘Big Brother’! How did you wind up on the show? Tell us about that experience!

JG: Back in 2008, I had a Manager out in CA and she told me that the Big Brother casting folks were looking for someone to fill a final spot on the show and she recommended that I go in for an audition. I did and, lo and behold, I ended up being cast on the show very quickly!

By the way, I have to send a shout out to the phenomenal Robyn Kass! She personally cast me on the show that season and again on the show the following season in 2009. She almost single-handedly changed my life for the better! I could not be more grateful or more appreciative for all that she’s done for me over the years. Robyn will always be someone I will forever look up to and respect, and be indebted to forever. She is the BEST of the BEST!

That first season was a bit intense. (Ha-ha!) And the people on the show were great, especially Michelle; she’s become a lifelong friend! This past season, overall, was even more fun because I was somewhat more prepared for what I would go through. In fact, I’ve met several additional folks this past season who have also become very good friends of mine since I left the show.

WP: It sounds like the show was an incredible and memorable experience. What was your favorite moment on the show?

JG: Well, it was probably during this past season when the people who helped orchestrate my ouster had the tables turned on them and got voted out of the house themselves! Ha-ha! Hey, turnabout is fair play. I love karma! In the end, you can’t take it seriously. It’s a game, and I definitely love all of the cast members; especially the ones from this past season!

From the prior season, I think my favorite moment was when the Big Brother producers had me return to the game in a gorilla suit to take part in a competition on the show after I had been eliminated. HA! I was running around the house and nobody knew it was me. That was AWESOME!

WP: It sounds like you really enjoyed your time on the show and came away with a great experience both times around! So, which housemates, besides Michelle, do you still keep in touch with?

JG: I hear from Ollie from Season 10 once in a while, and I also hear quite often from Lydia and Ronnie from Season 11. And, I speak to both Chima and Russell from Season 11 from time to time, too. Plus, I talk to former Houseguest Bunky every so often and Evil Dick as well!

You know, it’s just like what often happens after high school graduation. You grow close to (and stay in touch with) people you may least expect while you may actually lose touch with other friends you expected to always be close with! It’s just the way life is.

WP: That wasn’t the first show you were on though. What was your television debut?

JG: You’re right! I actually debuted on MTV several years ago as a contestant on the dating game show, NEXT! I proved to be so popular that they asked me back to do another MTV dating game show, EXPOSED! They were both fun shows to do and they gave me a taste of what the television industry was all about. Since then, the MTV casting directors also contacted me to possibly host the Justin Timberlake show, THE PHONE, a couple of years ago but, due to my commitment to Big Brother, the scheduling didn’t work out.

WP: I must admit, those shows are a guilty pleasure of mine! You also began a new career venture in December 2009. Care to share?

JG: Absolutely! That was when I debuted in TNA and officially became a Pro Wrestler! My experience in TNA has been absolutely PHENOMENAL. I can’t thank TNA President, Dixie Carter, and Head of Talent Relations, Terry Taylor, enough for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to prove myself as a Professional Wrestler. They are truly among the nicest, most incredible people I’ve ever met in my entire life.

I must also thank TNA (and former WWE) Superstar, Ric Flair, for initially encouraging me to move from California to Florida in late 2008 to pursue becoming a Pro Wrestler. He thought I had potential to make it big in the industry, and I hope I’m making him proud today. It has been yet another lifelong dream come true for me!

WP: AND, you’ll be making your INTERNATIONAL Pro Wrestling debut in Winnipeg, Canada! Who will be your opponent in your first match-up?

JG: My opponent will be none other than U-Gene Dinsmore (formerly of the WWE). I can’t wait for our match-up! It will take place on Friday, March 26th, at a WFX Wrestling event in Winnipeg, Canada, called REALITY BITES! And, get this! I am also honored to have another reality show superstar in my corner for the match…the one and only JONNY FAIRPLAY from CBS’s SURVIVOR! He’s my Wrestling Manager!

WP: I highly encourage everyone, including U-Gene, to check out the verbal jabbing Jessie dishes out on his website! You definitely have the wrestling smack talk down to a science!

Can you explain your signature move, the PEC-Tacular Press? What is the heaviest weight in which you’ve performed this maneuver?

JG: The PEC-Tacular Press is basically a Gorilla Press, or a Shoulder Press with a human being. But, because I’m doing it, I’ve named it ‘The PEC-Tacular Press’. I have some freaky strength in my shoulders so it’s a favorite move of mine. And, the fans go absolutely insane when I perform it! The heaviest person I’ve ever tried it with was just over 230 pounds, and the guy went up pretty easily. I haven’t met my match yet!

I have also started taking PEC-Tacular Press requests at personal appearances that I make. I did it to a ton of fans at the Arnold Expo this year where I was representing my sponsor, GENr8. I am also planning on doing it during my appearance at Comic Con in Toronto!

WP: What has the wrestling training been like? When do you fit in your own workouts?
